Johann V Zu was born in 1431. Johann V Zu's father was Johann IV Zu Salm and his mother was Jeanne De Joinville. His paternal grandparents were Johann III Zu Salm and Philippa Von Kleve; his maternal grandparents are Anseau De Joinville and Agnes De Pulligny. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Simon III Zu and Beatrice D'. He died at the age of 54 on June 4th, 1485.General Notes
