Alain De was born about 1422. Alain De's father was Alain IX De Rohan and his mother was Marguerite De Dreux. His paternal grandparents were Alain VIII De Rohan and Beatrix De Clisson; his maternal grandparents were Jean V De Montfort De Dreux and Jeanne D' Evereux. He had three sisters named Catherine De, Jeanne De and Marguerite De. He is the second youngest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Jean II De, Pierre De, Catherine De, Madeleine De and Anna De.General Notes
