Robert III De Bethune De+ was born about 1247. Robert III De Bethune De+'s father was Guy De+ Dampierre and his mother was Mathilde De+ Bethune. His paternal grandparents were Guillaume II De+ Bourbon and Marguerite II De+ Hainaut; his maternal grandfather was Robert VII De+ Bethune and his maternal grandmother is Isabeau De+ Morialmes. He had a brother and three sisters, named Guillaume IV+, Marguerite De+, Marie De and Beatrice I. He was the second oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Jean I De, Marguerite De+, Beatrice II De and Isabeau De+. He died on September 17th, 1322.General Notes
