Catherine De La was born about 1402. Catherine De La's father was Gui VIII De La Rochefoucauld and her mother is Marguerite De Craon. Her paternal grandparents are Aymery III De La Rochefoucauld and Rogette De Grailly; her maternal grandparents were Guillaume II De Craon and Jeanne De Montbazon.
