Alexandre Jules De La was born on January 22nd, 1796. Alexandre Jules De La's father was Alexandre Francois De La Rochefoucauld and his mother was Adelaide Pyvart-Chastulle. His paternal grandparents were Francois XII De La Rochefoucauld and Felicite De Lannion. He had two brothers and a sister, named Wilfrid Francois De La, Francois Joseph De La and Adele De La. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 60 on April 21st, 1856.General Notes
