Marie De La was born in December 1718. Marie De La's father was Alexandre De La Rochefoucauld and her mother was Elizabeth De Bermond Du Caylar. Her paternal grandparents were Francois VIII De La Rochefoucauld and Madeleine Charlotte Le Tellier; her maternal grandfather was Jacques Francois Du Caylar and her maternal grandmother is Francoise Louise De Berard. She had a sister named Louise Elizabeth De La. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 70 in September 1789.General Notes
