His paternal grandparents were Robert De+ Quincy and Orbella De+ Leuchars; his maternal grandparents were Robert III De+ Beaumont-Le-Roger and Peronelle De+ Grandmesnil. He had a brother and three sisters, named Robert De+, Loretta De, Arabella De+ and Hawise De+. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died on April 25th, 1264 in England.
