Hugues+ was born about 1053 in Vermandois, France. Hugues+'s father was Henri I+ Capet and his mother was Anna+ Yaroslavna. His paternal grandparents were Robert+ Capet and Constance+ D' Arles. He had a brother named Philippe I+. He was the younger of the two children. He died on October 18th, 1102 in Tarsus, Cilicie, on crusade. He was buried in St. Paul De Tarse.General Notes
