He had a brother and six sisters, named Walerand IV De+, Adeline Newburgh De+, Eleanor+, Maud Alberade De+, Alice De+, Havoise De+ and Isabel De+. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William III De+, Reginald De+, Ada De+ and Gundred De+. He died at the age of 73 on April 5th, 1168 in Leicestershire, England.
