His paternal grandfather was Gumprecht I Von Neuenahr and his paternal grandmother is Philippa Von Heinsberg; his maternal grandfather was Wilhelm Von Limburg and his maternal grandmother is Metze Von Reifferscheid. He had a brother named Friedrich Von. He was the younger of the two children. He died on July 24th, 1499.General Notes
