Joseph Jones Monroe 
Joseph Jones was born in 1764 in Westmoreland Co., VA. Joseph Jones' father was Spence Monroe and his mother is Elizabeth Jones. His paternal grandfather was Andrew Monroe. He had three brothers and a sister, named James, Spence, Andrew and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 60 in 1824.General Notes
