Eliza Kortright Monroe 
Eliza Kortright was born on December 5th, 1787 in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, VA. Eliza Kortright's father was James Monroe and her mother was Elizabeth Kortright. Her paternal grandfather was Spence Monroe and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Jones. She had a brother and a sister, named James Spence and Maria Hester. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 52 on January 27th, 1840 in Paris, France.General Notes
