Lydia was born on April 20th, 1802 in Lost Creek Mm, Jefferson, TN. Lydia's father was Samuel Mills and her mother is Mary Bell Ballenger. Her paternal grandparents were John III Mills and Sarah Millikan. She has two brothers and four sisters, named John, Nathan, Sarah, Hannah, Alice and Rachel.
