William Quiller+ Mickles 
William Quiller+ was born in 1743 in NC or VA. William Quiller+'s father is John Michael and his mother is Anne+ X. His paternal grandparents are Johann Conrad+ Michell and Nm+ X. He was an only child. He died at the age of 40 in 1783 in NC.General Notes

"Here is a map of Surry Co., NC (in file) shows where Wiliiam and Clara Mickles were in 1768 and before , at Shallow Ford . This is were John Mikels in 1768, was born as well as William & Thomas. There is a record in The Morovian Church records in their early settling in Surry Co., mentions a Mr. Michcoll stopped by in 1752 or 1753." She states that these early Mickles/Micholl(s) were thought to be trappers and hunters, probably knew the Boone's and Bryan's, and may even gone on hunting parties with them.
‌William Quiller+ and Clara+ were married in a religious ceremony in Surrey Co, VA. They had three sons and two daughters, named William+, John, Thomas+, Elizabeth and Mary.
