Christina was born on May 27th, 1736 in Montgomery Co., PA. Christina's father was Jacob Merckle and her mother was Barbara Dotterer. Her paternal grandfather was Abraham Merckle and her paternal grandmother is Anna Veronica X; her maternal grandparents were George Philip Dotterer and Anna Veronica Schleipfer. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Abraham, Philip, Isaac, Veronica and Rebecca. She is the youngest of the six children.General Notes
