Abraham Markley 
Abraham was born on August 12th, 1723 in Shippack, PA. Abraham's father was Jacob Merckle and his mother was Barbara Dotterer. His paternal grandfather was Abraham Merckle and his paternal grandmother is Anna Veronica X; his maternal grandparents were George Philip Dotterer and Anna Veronica Schleipfer. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Philip, Isaac, Veronica, Rebecca and Christina. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 76 on March 20th, 1800. He was buried in Lower Mennonite Mm, Perkiomen Twp., PA.General Notes
