Sarah Von was born about 1563. Sarah Von's father was Volrad Von Mansfeld and her mother was Barbara Reuss Zu Greiz. Her paternal grandparents were Albrecht Von Mansfeld and Anna Von Honstein; her maternal grandparents were Heinrich XIII Reuss Zu Greiz and Amalie Von Mansfeld. She was an only child.
