Phillip was born about 1530. Phillip's father was Randel Mainwaring and his mother was Elizabeth Brereton. His paternal grandfather is John Mainwaring and his paternal grandmother was Katherine Hanford; his maternal grandfather is Randel+ Brereton and his maternal grandmother was Eleanor+ Dutton. He had two sisters named Margaret and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother named Hugh. He died on April 11th, 1573.General Notes
