Katherine was born in 1471 in Handforth, Cheshire, England. Katherine's father is John Hanford and her mother was Margaret Savage. Her maternal grandparents were John IV Savage and Catherine Stanley. She had a brother named William. She was the older of the two children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Edmund and Margery. She died at the age of 58 in 1529.General Notes
