Berthe De was born about 1114. Berthe De's father was Simon I De+ Lorraine and her mother was Adelaide De+ Louvain. Her paternal grandparents were Thierry II De+ Lorraine and Hedwig Von+ Formbach; her maternal grandparents were Henry III De+ Louvain and Gertrude Of+ Flanders. She had a brother and two sisters, named Mathieu I De+, Gertrude De+ and Agathe De+. She is the second oldest of the four children.General Notes
