James Johnston 
James was born about 1568. James' father was John Johnston and his mother was Margaret Scott. His paternal grandfather was James Johnston and his paternal grandmother is Margaret Hamilton; his maternal grandparents were William Scott and Grisel Beaton. He was an only child. He died due to being murdered. on April 6th, 1608.General Notes
