Gilbert Houghton 
Gilbert was born in 1591. Gilbert's father was Richard Houghton and his mother was Catherine Gerard. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Houghton and Anne Keighley; his maternal grandfather was Gilbert Gerard and his maternal grandmother is Anne Radcliffe. He had a sister named Catherine. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 56 in April 1647.General Notes
