Margaret was born about 1557 in Home, Berwick, Scotland. Margaret's father was Alexander Home and her mother is Margaret Kerr. Her paternal grandparents are George Home and Mariot Halyburton; her maternal grandparents were Walter Kerr and Isabel Kerr. She was an only child. She died in May 1598 in Scotland.General Notes
