George was born in 1553 in Dunottar, Kincardine, Scotland. George's father was William Keith and his mother is Elizabeth Hay. His paternal grandfather was William+ Keith and his paternal grandmother is Margaret+ Keith; his maternal grandfather was George Hay and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Robertson. He had a sister named Barbara. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 70 on April 2nd, 1623 in Dunottar Castle, Kincardine, Scotland.
