Friedrich Wilhelm Von was born in 1701 in Brandenburg, Prussia. Friedrich Wilhelm Von's father was Albrecht Friedrich Von Hohenzollern and his mother was Marie Dorothea Von Kurland. His paternal grandparents were Friedrich Wilhelm Von Hohenzollern and Dorothea Von Glucksburg; his maternal grandparents were Friedrich Kasimir Von Kurland and Sophie Amalie Von Nassau-Siegen. He had two sisters named Sophie Von and Albertine Von. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 40 in 1741 in Battle of Mollwitz.General Notes
