Franz I Von was born on January 1st, 1511. Franz I Von's father was Magnus I Von Sachsen-Lauenburg and his mother was Katharina Guelph. His paternal grandparents were Johann V Von Sachsen-Lauenburg and Dorothea Von Hohenzollern; his maternal grandparents were Heinrich I Guelph and Katharina Von Pommern. He had two sisters named Dorothea Von and Sophia Von. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 71 on March 19th, 1582.General Notes
