Kraft V Zu was born about 1408. Kraft V Zu's father was Albrecht Zu Hohenlohe and his mother was Elizabeth Von Hanau. His paternal grandparents were Kraft III Zu Hohenlohe and Anna Von Leuchenberg; his maternal grandparents were Ulrich V Von Hanau and Elizabeth Von Ziegenhain. He had a sister named Elizabeth Zu.
