Kraft II Zu was born about 1290. Kraft II Zu's father was Kraft I Zu Hohenlohe and his mother was Margareta Von Truhendingen. His maternal grandparents were Friedrich Von Truhendingen and Margareta Von Andechs. He had two sisters named Agnes Zu and Adelheid Zu. He had a half-brother named Konrad Zu.
