Reuben Hinshaw 
Reuben was born on May 16th, 1809 in Randolph Co., NC. Reuben's father was Ezra Hinshaw and his mother was Phebe Hobson. His paternal grandparents are Thomas Hinshaw and Rebecca Marshall; his maternal grandparents were Charles Hobson and Sarah Beck. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Abijah, Zimri, Sarah, Rebecca, Lydia, Selina and Nancy. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 68 on November 30th, 1877 in Cass Co., MI.General Notes
