Abijah Hinshaw 
Abijah was born on January 23rd, 1812 in Randolph Co., NC. Abijah's father was Ezra Hinshaw and his mother was Phebe Hobson. His paternal grandparents are Thomas Hinshaw and Rebecca Marshall; his maternal grandparents were Charles Hobson and Sarah Beck. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Reuben, Zimri, Sarah, Rebecca, Lydia, Selina and Nancy. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 66 on July 10th, 1878 in Cass Co., MI.General Notes
