Johann I Von was born in 1316. Johann I Von's father was Berthold VII Von+ Henneberg and his mother was Adelheid Von+ Hessen. His paternal grandparents were Berthold V Von+ Henneberg and Sophie Von+ Schwarzburg; his maternal grandparents were Heinrich I Von+ Hessen and Adelheid+ Guelph. He had a brother and a sister, named Heinrich VIII Von and Elizabeth Von+. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 43 on May 2nd, 1359.General Notes
