Albrecht I+ was born in 1236. Albrecht I+'s father was Otto+ Guelph and his mother was Mathilde Von+ Brandenburg. His paternal grandparents were Wilhelm+ Guelph and Helene Of+ Denmark; his maternal grandparents were Albrecht II Von+ Brandenburg and Mathilde+ Von Wettin. He had a brother and four sisters, named Johann I+, Helene+, Elizabeth, Agnes+ and Adelheid+. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 43 in 1279.General Notes
