Samuel Gilpin 
Samuel was born on June 7th, 1694 in Dorchester, Oxford, England. Samuel's father was Joseph Gilpin and his mother was Hannah Glover. His maternal grandfather was George II Glover and his maternal grandmother is Alice Lamball. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Thomas, Joseph, George, Isaac, Moses, Hannah, Ruth, Lydia, Ann, Sarah, Alice, Mary and Esther. He was the second oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 62 on January 12th, 1757 in MD.General Notes
