Joseph Gilpin 
Joseph was born on October 21st, 1703 in Bermingham, Chester, PA. Joseph's father was Joseph Gilpin and his mother was Hannah Glover. His maternal grandfather was George II Glover and his maternal grandmother is Alice Lamball. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, George, Isaac, Moses, Hannah, Ruth, Lydia, Ann, Sarah, Alice, Mary and Esther. He was the seventh oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 89 on December 31st, 1792 in Wilmington, New Castle, Delaware.General Notes
