Margarette M. Gaines 
Margarette M. was born on October 28th, 1830 in Beardstown, Morgan (Cass), IL. Margarette M.'s father was William B. Gaines and her mother was Mary Callahan. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Gaines and Elizabeth Gaines. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Richard A., William E., Mildred, Cynthia Ann, Mary C. and Lucinda. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 73 on May 7th, 1904 in Smith, Kansas.General Notes
