Carlos was born on December 4th, 1849 in Madrid, Spain. Carlos' father was Jacobo Luis Fitzjames and his mother was Maria Francisca De Palafox. His paternal grandparents were Carlos Miguel Fitzjames and Rosalia Ventimiglia; his maternal grandparents were Cipriano De Palafox and Manuela Kirkpatrick De Closeburn. He was an only child. He died at the age of 51 on October 15th, 1901 in New York, NY.General Notes
