His paternal grandfather was Joaquin Antonio De Palafox and his paternal grandmother is Marie Anne De Croy D' Havre; his maternal grandfather was Cristobal Portocarrero and his maternal grandmother is Josefa De Zuniga. He had a sister named Tomasa Josefa De. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 54 on March 15th, 1839.General Notes
