Robert+ was born about 1370. Robert+'s father was Thomas+ Erskine and his mother is Janet+ Keith. His paternal grandparents were Robert+ Erskine and Beatrice+ Lindsay; his maternal grandparents were Edward+ Keith and Christian+ Menteith. He had two sisters named Elizabeth+ and Margaret.
