Nancy Jane was born on September 3rd, 1855 in McDonough, IL. Nancy Jane's father was Dodson Franklin Eastin and her mother was Cynthia Belle Jones. Her paternal grandparents were John II J. Eastin and Nancy Ann Thorp; her maternal grandfather was Stephen C. Jones and her maternal grandmother is Sarah Jane Kelly. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named John J, Elza Dayton, Stephen Franklin, Grant, James Harvey, Ellsworth, Oscar, Sarah Frances, Rosa and Mary. She was the third oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 90 on June 5th, 1946 in MO.General Notes
