William Douglas 
William was born about 1618 in Drumlanrig, Dumfriesshire, Scotland. William's father was William Douglas and his mother is Isabel Kerr. His paternal grandfather was James Douglas and his paternal grandmother is Mary Fleming; his maternal grandparents were Mark Kerr and Margaret Maxwell. He had a brother and a sister, named James and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died before 1673 in Kelhead, Scotland.General Notes
