Elizabeth was born about 1394 in Douglas, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Elizabeth's father was Archibald+ Douglas and her mother was Margaret+ Stewart. Her paternal grandparents were Archibald+ Douglas and Jean+ Moray; her maternal grandparents were Robert III+ Stewart and Annabella+ Drummond. She had a brother and two sisters, named Archibald+, Margaret+ and Helen+. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died before 1451.General Notes
