Solomon Dixon

Solomon was born on October 8th, 1761 in Orange Co., NC. Solomon's father was Simon Dixon and his mother was Elizabeth Allen. His maternal grandparents were John Allen and Amy+ Cox. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, John, Jesse, Simon II, Benjamin, Naomi and Elizabeth. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 66 in 1827 in Chatham Co., NC.
