John Dixon

John was born in 1755 in Orange Co., NC. John's father was Simon Dixon and his mother was Elizabeth Allen. His maternal grandparents were John Allen and Amy+ Cox. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Jesse, Solomon, Simon II, Benjamin, Naomi and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 68 in 1823 in Orange Co., NC.
