Elizabeth was born about 1333 in Exeter, Devonshire, England. Elizabeth's father was Hugh De+ Courtenay and her mother was Margaret De+ Bohun. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh De+ Courtenay and Agnes De+ Saint John; her maternal grandparents were Humphrey VIII De+ Bohun and Elizabeth+ Plantagenet. She had three brothers and a sister, named Hugh, Edward+, Philip+ and Margaret+. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died on August 7th, 1395.General Notes
