John III+ was born in 1269 in Badenoch, Invernesshire, Scotland. John III+'s father was John+ Comyn and his mother is Eleanor De+ Balliol. His paternal grandfather was John I+ Comyn and his paternal grandmother is Amabilia De+ Lindsay; his maternal grandparents were John De+ Balliol and Devorguilla Of+ Galloway. He had a sister named Dornagilda+. He was the older of the two children. He died due to being murdered by Robert the Bruce at the age of 37 on February 10th, 1306 in Greyfriar's Church, Dumfries, Scotland.
