Isabel De was born in May 1240 in Tonbridge, Kent, England. Isabel De's father was Richard Fitzgilbert De+ Clare and her mother was Maud De+ Lacy. Her paternal grandparents were Gilbert Fitzrichard De+ Clare and Isabel+ Marshall; her maternal grandparents were John De+ Lacy and Margaret De+ Quincy. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Gilbert De+, Thomas De+, Margaret De and Rohese De+. She was the oldest of the five children. She died before 1271.General Notes
