Robert Canaday 
Robert was born on January 13th, 1777 in New Garden, Guilford, NC. Robert's father is John Canaday and his mother was Margaret Thornburgh. His paternal grandparents were Charles Canaday and Phoebe Beals. He had five brothers and a sister, named Henry, Bowater, Charles, Walter, John and Phebe. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 59 on August 5th, 1836 in Springfield Mm, Wayne Co., IN.General Notes
