James Brinton 
James was born on December 13th, 1723 in Thornbury, Chester Co., PA. James' father was Joseph Brinton and his mother is Mary Pierce. His paternal grandparents were William Brinton and Jane Thatcher. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, John, Moses, William, George, Mary, Jane, Hannah and Phoebe. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 86 on January 14th, 1810.General Notes
