Mahala Beals 
Mahala was born on May 18th, 1821 in Clinton Co., OH. Mahala's father was Daniel Beals and her mother was Katherine Bales. Her paternal grandparents are Jacob Beals and Elizabeth Blackburn; her maternal grandparents were Daniel Beals and Suzannah Jackson. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Jacob, Samuel Blackburn, Daniel, Susanna, Hannah, Elizabeth and Phebe Ann. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 89 on November 10th, 1910 in Randolph Co., IN.General Notes
