Pedro De was born on December 9th, 1392 in Lisboa, Portugal. Pedro De's father was Joao I De Aviz and his mother was Philippa Plantagenet. His paternal grandfather was Pedro I De Bourgogne and his paternal grandmother is Theresa Lourenso; his maternal grandparents were John Of Gaunt+ Plantagenet and Blanche+ Plantagenet. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Duarte I De, Joao De, Beatriz De Portugal De and Isabel De. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother named Afonso I De.
